Yorkie Adoption Application: Start Your Journey to Your Perfect Yorkie Match
Completing our Yorkie adoption application is the first step toward welcoming a Yorkshire Terrier or Yorkie-cross into your home. At Yorkie Rehoming & Adoptions (YR), every application is personally reviewed by specialists who understand exactly what this breed needs to settle in and thrive long-term.
Please complete the profile below as fully as you can — the more we understand about your home and lifestyle, the faster and more accurately we can match you with the right Yorkie.
Priority Intake: Once you’ve submitted your application, please send us a direct WhatsApp message straight away so we can link your profile to your enquiry immediately. This keeps your application moving during busy periods rather than sitting in a queue.
Our Yorkie Adoption Vetting Standards
We don’t treat a Yorkie adoption application as a form to tick off — every profile is assessed specifically against what this breed needs to flourish: home security appropriate for a small, delicate dog, realistic grooming commitment, and an understanding of a Yorkie’s tendency toward strong attachment to their people.
We place Yorkies and Yorkie-crosses with responsible homes across South Africa, matching each dog with a family genuinely equipped for their long-term health, grooming needs, and emotional wellbeing. Starting your application today means joining families who share our commitment to a 100% cage-free, home-to-home rehoming model.
